Drum Collection by Mac Stopa for Cappellini

Move to the beat of your own drum with the Drum Collection by Mac Stopa for Haworth Collection Cappellini, a tribute to the hexagonal drum pads of the ‘80s. Functionality, flexibility, modularity and comfort is the name of the game with the Drum Collection.

Consisting of an organic shaped upholstered modular armchair, pouf, high metal table and pouf coffee table (that also doubles as seating), the Drum Collection can be arranged in a composition game of modular elements to accommodate any seating or table configuration, from stand-alone to an infinite number of configurations in large open spaces. The sculptural forms of the armchair are padded in multi-density polyurethane foam ensuring maximum comfort without limiting the armchair’s aesthetic impact. The upholstery is made of stretch fabric with the 3D print of Mac’s Cube tessellating geometric pattern in three color variations: silver, red and blue.

Drum also comes upholstered in solid colors including blue, black, turquoise, white, orange, and in other Cappellini fabrics and leathers. The tessellating pouf coffee table in polyurethane foam is available in the same colors of the armchair, while the modular high metal table with a tessellating organic sculptural shape is manufactured using a sheet metal bending process and is available in white lacquer or Anthracite finishing.

Drum Collection received a NYCxDESIGN Honoree Award 2016 in Best of Show: BKLYN DESIGNS, Collective Design, Wanted Design Category, an Interior Design HIP Award 2016 in Hospitality: Lounge Seating Category and the Drum Modular Pouf was awarded with Interior Design HIP Honoree 2016 in Hospitality: Seating Category. www.cappellini.it
